Wall Street Journal Assignment—–Due Thursday,
April 27, 2017-Maximum of $ 100 O’ Rourke Dollars
for Each Current Article Submitted.
Please prepare a professionally-written 2 to 4 page, word-processed report (not
including the Cover Page) on a current article which you read in the Wall Street
Journal (WSJ) that you believe is related to economics.
Each submission will require a 1-page summary of the particular issue/article and
how this article relates to economics. In addition, please offer 1 to 3 pages of your
opinion, views, or solution to this WSJ article. Please be sure to attach either the
original or copy of the WSJ article stapled to each submission.
This report should be double-spaced using standard “12-Point Font”, and “Times
New Roman” text. The report should also include a word-processed Cover Page
containing Your Full Name, Date, Course Number, Period Number, and Title of the
WSJ Article.
Each report submitted will receive up to a maximum of $ 100 O’Rourke Dollars for
an “A” paper (i.e. “Check Plus”) and $ 50 O’Rourke Dollars for a “C” paper (i.e.
“Check”). Any papers receiving a grade of “F” (i.e. “Check Minus”, will not receive
any O’Rourke Dollars.
You may submit as many of these WSJ articles this term. All papers must follow the
specific guidelines discussed above. All submissions are due on or before Thursday,
April 27, 2017.
I only accept “hard copies” of these assignments. Please be sure to staple the current
