Labeling children such as “troublemakers,” “slow,” or “disabled” may be causing harm, not only during school, but throughout their lives. If enough people start to think of you a certain way, you may well become that person. This week during Seminar we’ll discuss labels and self-fulfilling prophecies. How does the relationship between the two affect student performance, both behaviorally and academically?
