Running Header: CAMPAIGN EVALUATION AND CONCLUSION
1
VI. campaign evaluation
The campaign evaluation of the company will follow the introduction of WeChat to the world
back which was in 2011. The company has grown much in some countries, which is because
of the competitions the company is facing. So far so good, the company has both strengths as
well as weakness and one of its strength is that it has acquired 890 million users during the
five years it has been active (Liang, Y. (2014).
The company which is quite similar to other social network services has managed to
introduce its services which have been highly used in China and in India when compared to
other countries. One of its services includes the SMS service which is also present in one of
its competitor, WhatsApp. Another service that this social network company has managed to
provide is that has made the service of making a friend through its social network platform
easier. The users of the company media platform have the advantage of playing games,
sending money from one place to another, ordering food, accessing their bank accounts, file a
police report, making video calls in between the social media platforms, reading news, they
can also book an appointment to go to the doctor, sending money and book a flight anywhere,
anytime.
In order to reach other avenues beyond the world, the company has managed to plan
for a new service which will be adopted in Europe to make it more marketable and be ahead
of its competitors. The company has made it known that will further offer mobile payment
services that will also be linked with e-commerce which will be used in by the users who are
located in Europe. The said service is quite similar to service offered Apple pay and Samsung
as well (Tang, 2014).
CAMPAIGN EVALUATION AND CONCLUSION
The company wishes to target other countries where the competitors are reigning,
particularly, in the United States. In accordance with the statistics, most of the smartphone
users are from the United States, hence, the country would provide huge number active users
from the country who would use their services. Already, the company’s services were already
being used in various countries majorly in India and China but the services still paled when
compared to the services offered by other social network platforms, for example, Facebook
which had the highest number of active users in the whole world. In future and with the
announcement of the new services that are said to be launched, Europe will also be an
existing customer and hopefully, the number of the app users will increase with time (Liang,
Y. (2014).
The company will employ various tactics to market themselves to the existing
customers and new customers ensuring the targeted group will get to know about the app and
the services that the social network will provide. The company will advertise their services in
the hope that the advertisement will make their brand which will be highly applicable because
of the competition. Another tactic that the company will use to reach its users will be sales
promotion which will help build a customer base which will be based on their satisfaction.
In marketing tactics will help with the sale goals as they target new users as
well as the continuing users. However, the advertising of the brand and the app which is also
the most efficient way of marketing the brand will also be quite expensive but will help reap
benefits since reasonable sale goals will be achieved by the company. In addition, the target

sales and the old services, as well as the services being provided by the social network
platform will help the company to achieve their sales goals (Tang, 2014).
VII.Conclusion
WeChat looks to be a promising social network platform that will grow in the coming
years and may also be a major competitor in reference to the other social network platforms.
The services being provided are also unique which are not existent in some of the network
platforms hence that service alone can bring a huge profit to the company as well as make the
brand known to many who still don’t know of the app.
In addition, the marketing techniques that will be employed by the company, Tencent
will help advertise the company to new users which lead to an increase of users from 890
million users since its highly active in India and China. The important issue is to make the
company to be known in the United States which has the highest number of smartphone users
in the world.
The social network platform has both advantages and disadvantages with a lot more
advantages when compared to the number of disadvantages. The disadvantages of this social
network platform may lead the company to not achieving their sales goals hence the
marketing of the application should be done with efficiency since it will help acquire users
from all over will be because the company due to the marketing strategies employed by the
company (Liang, Y. (2014).
3
CAMPAIGN EVALUATION AND CONCLUSION
Target market currently will be in the United States due to the number of users who
are making other social network platforms gather profit should also be broadened to include
other countries as well since most of the services offered by the platform will also be required
by other countries which are not included in the target market of the company’s project, for
example, in Africa (Tang, 2014).
