Discussion 8.1 – What Do You Know About Your Organization’s Culture, And How Did You Find Out?

In your initial post, describe how you were introduced to your organization’s culture by analyzing how your organization addresses the following:

Promotes cohesion.
Portrays the organization to itself by fostering core beliefs and cultivating essential values.
Provides space for organizational members to do their jobs.
Helps people to cope with ambiguity and confusion.
Enables people to find faith and meaning in their work.
Offers rules and cues for effective behavior (policies/procedures/guidelines for what the organization considers right or wrong).
Expresses fears and joys, and allows you to.
