Having completed your interview with an HR practitioner, now you need to summarize your findings in a presentation. Based on what you’ve learned in class, in your independent research, and from your interview participant, consider the following:

What were the key findings from your interview?
How do these relate to what you’ve learned in class and your own independent research?
What was surprising or unusual from your findings?
Is there anything that you would recommend the organization do differently, based on your research?

Create a PowerPoint presentation to share the results of your analysis. Your presentation should be framed as an executive summary of key findings and recommendations, not a Q&A, so you should not list or refer to specific questions from the assignment. (It should look like a business presentation in a workplace, not a response to a class exercise.)
Use in-text citations to show where you are applying or discussing content from your textbook or other course materials. In addition, use content from at least one external scholarly source, and be sure to cite where you are applying or discussing content from these sources as well. End your presentation with a References list that gives the full details about the sources. In-text citations and References should be formatted according to APA standards.
Add narration to your presentation slides, so that when played in Slide Show format, your viewers will have the benefit of hearing you explain the material. This simulates the experience of watching a live presentation. If you need guidance for how to create a narrated PowerPoint presentation, please do a quick internet search (as there are many excellent how-to videos on YouTube, etc.) Reach out to your instructor if you’re having difficulty.
Submit your presentation materials here in Canvas. Give substantive responses to at least two classmates’ presentations by Sunday evening. sharing what you’ve learned from their presentation, how it relates to your findings, what recommendations you would make for their organization, etc. Your ratings, feedback, and grade here will reflect both the content and delivery of your presentation and your responses.

THE QUESTIONS I PREPARED USE THESE IN THE POWERPOINT AND ANSWER AS IF YOU WERE AN HR PRACTITIONER……..Preparation for an interview is an essential recipe to understanding significant issues affecting them and in turn apply the concepts in one’s practices. I believe conducting an interview with Human Resource practitioner’s organization would enable me to build a strong foundation in understanding the issues related to human resource which is my field of study. Therefore, I wish to present the interview questions that I intend to ask my HR practitioner to help me to remain focused and consistent throughout the interview. Those questions will include the following:

Kindly inform me about the compensation strategy that your organization uses. Is it based on hourly, salary, commissions or bonuses?
What is the essence of choosing the compensation strategy that you use in your organization?
I understand that motivating employees is a key strategy to improve their productivity. However, some motivations and reward approaches makes other employees to feel biased. How do you address this challenge in your organization?
Do you give base pay or variable pay as your reward for your workers and what is the rationale behind choosing it?
Well, I understand that using fixed pay as a compensation for the employees may cause reluctance in the workplace (Mathis, Jackson, & Valentine, 2017). Do you have employees whom you compensate using this method? If so, how do you ensure that they are consistently productive?
I have learned that your organization is successful in compensating its employees considering the productivity in the organization. Would you kindly inform me what formula you use to determine the salary or compensation for every employee?
Besides compensation and rewards, employees may feel uncomfortable with the schedules that the organization has (Mathis, Jackson, & Valentine, 2017). What are the strategies that you use to ensure that this potential does not hinder your organizational performance?
Do you have flexible schedules where employees choose their preferred time to work? If so, then how do you ensure that the deadlines are met for a given period’s activities?
(Mathis, Jackson, & Valentine (2017)argues that every organization faces given challenges with the external or external pay equity. Do you agree with this argument? If so, how do your organization counter those challenges?
How do you react to your benefits in terms of distribution and investment?

I believe that asking these questions would enable me to strengthen my human resource management skills and apply them in my future career. The first four questions will build my knowledge about compensation which is key in determining the most appropriate strategy that an organization should use based on factors such as the annual returns and employees’ value. For instance, understanding the compensation strategy that my Human Resource Practitioner’s organization uses will enable me to attribute it to large organizations and in turn, interpret the approaches that their smaller counterparts should use (Mathis, Jackson, & Valentine, 2017). The fifth and sixth question are critical in evaluating an effective formula that should be used in determining the appropriateness of either fixed or variable pay. The aim of this approach is to ensure that the employees’ productivities are not limited. The eighth question about flexibility of workers’ schedule is not only essential in determining the impact of such schedules in the organizational performance, but also in assessing the best way to treat the employees based on their requirements.
