SWOT Analysis
A SWOT analysis helps come up with a strategic plan on what the business has going for itself
and what the down fall can be. This can be very helpful to the owner or business developers
correlate a plan on areas they need to improve on as far as weakness and what they can improve
on considering their threats.

The fact that Welding is critical technology in almost 90 percent of all the durable goods

Welding provides stronger and lighter products.

Widened scope away from metals to ceramics and polymers, making it more versatile.
Weakness
Hinders smooth production flow as it requires energy and time-consuming efforts.
Not an exact science: imperfections will always occur.
Welding professionals acquire knowledge on the job under apprenticeships hence creates a
significant shortage of skilled workers who can operate advanced welding machines.
Opportunities
The threats and weaknesses show a way forward for the industry hence improving the quality of
welds and therefore increasing the efficiency of the welding process that might change the
negative perception of welding and deter the rising market share of welding alternatives.
An increase in skilled welders and improvements in the industry can as well prove helpful in this
endeavor thus providing more people with requisite education and training and teaching them to
use sophisticated machinery might translate to improvements in the overall quality of outputs.

Conduct a financial analysis on my life; determine net worth, income and expenses, as well as
future possibilities by setting SMART goals.
