Figure 4.5 shows the illustration in some of the opposing desiderata of modes (Janssen, Wimmer, & Delijoo, 2015). Additionally, the model illustrates the following tensions in a simple manner:

Validity
Formality
Select and discuss one of the model tensions. Start with the authors definition of the tension and elaborate from there.
