Healthcare Facilities
In this discussion we are going to look into the effects of various health facilities in
America that have been able to provide cheap and modern health care support in the recent past.
These services have greatly helped many people who needed such medical support. The health
centers too have a taken advantage of the increased demand too to operate. Not only do the
centers offer health services but also comfort to the society. The health care centers have been
regarded to many as very supportive to their patients. They have been able to offer alternative
health care services to the society as we going to see in the following discussion.
Surgicenters.
These centers can be described as the current modern based healthcare facilities which
their main aim is to provide a same-day surgical care for patients as well as diagnosing and also
administering preventive measures for the same. Many American lives have been transformed by
these modern clinics which are a good alternative to the hospital based procedures. These centers
have proven to be of good quality healthcare as per the views from some of the patients who
have visited the centers for healthcare need.

Quality is well maintained in the centers to ensure that health and safety standards are
taken into consideration. The surgicentres too must adhere to the specific federal requirements
that govern the operation of the surgicentres. The same centers have also been able to receive
accreditation from the accrediting bodies in America. A state specific licensure on the other hand
is needed to carry out inspection as well as reporting on the quality of health services offered in
the surgicentres.
The financing mechanisms of the surgicentres should come from the existing medical
care. The care impact has been greatly felt. Many patients have been able to receive quality
healthcare at a cheaper price. It has really helped many people to save money and at the same
time receive quality health care. The centers provide quality and cheap services to its patients.
Telehome care
Telehome cares (TCH) are health care services that are offered to patients directly at their
place of residence. It usually enhances interactions through voice, video as well as other health
related data. TCH is useful in that it helps to treat patients who have chronic health
complications. It also offers health care services through the delivery of the same through
education, social support as well as through education. TCH increases the better management of
chronic diseases among other conditions e.g. heart conditions, diabetes and many more. They
have brought in increased accessibility to health services.
They help in creating a network of health services between hospitals as well as primary
care providers. The patients are highly monitored through systems which contain small units
through which one or two peripheral devices are connected. This enables the systems to test for

blood pressure among other illnesses. The TCH transfers data through telephone lines to the
manufacture’s data center where it is stored.
The European Union is the financier of this from of health facility. Most of the people
who were interviewed praised this form of health facility as a unique one that has been able to
use technology to help its patients in curing chronic diseases. Both the patients and the nurses
were happy to comment that the innovation of TCH has brought in good quality of health care
solution that is cheap. The health center was tested to be one the best center to provide; both the
wound and cardiopulmonary assessments as well as managing symptoms.
Day hospitals
Day hospitals is a unique health facility that gives the patient an opportunity to go to the
center for special treatment in the course of the day and return back home or go to another
facility during the night. The existence of the facility is viable because first and foremost their
services are genuine. The clients are able to be treated through the insurance programs that are
covered under the hospital insurance bill. This helps many clients to clear their bills at ease. The
outpatient services of the same are also very helpful to the patients.
The post- hospital care services are well furnished to cover its patients with the hospital
insurance fund. The health center has certain outpatient services that come along with ambulance
transportation too to the patient. Other services that are available include the cardiac
catheterization services, the computerized axial tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging
among others. In order for a patient to qualify for post-hospital extended care services, the
patient must have been an inpatient for a period of three days. Time is spent to observe an

inpatient admission to the hospital. In the health center there is maximum supervision done by a
registered professional nurse.
The board is responsible in financing the healthcare facility. Drugs, supplies, equipment
as well as biological are all financed by the board.
Many people who used the health facility pointed out that the services are of good quality and
also genuine. The employees of the facilities were also recommended for their enhanced skill in
provision of the health care services.
Hospital at home
Hospitals at home are used for the adoption of older adults who need comfort as well as
care in their homes. The programs offered are of good quality to the adults and bring in comfort.
They include home health, complete care, care management programs as well as home based
management programs.
At these health centers a team of physicians as well as nurses and other qualified clinical officers
make house calls to treat these elderly patients, mostly of these patients refuse to go to hospital to
receive health care services. This approach is able to yield outcomes at a cheaper price and at
good quality services.
The financing of these healthy facilities is done by the Presbyterians’ health plan. Each
admission is based on the diagnosis and calculated as a discount of Medicare’s prospective
payment schemes. The payment takes care of the fees for provider visits as well as nursing visits,
the ancillary services too. The rest of the financials are covered by the commercial health plan.

The provisions of acute care medical services have helped many aged people who have
been helped to live a life of comfort and diagnose health concerns amongst them. This has
enabled them to get quality health services all along. The aged too have accepted the mobility of
these services in that the health care services of the same are just a phone call away. The heath
care centers have been recommended by having skilled workforce i.e. nurses, and doctors. They
are able to diagnose health problems in the aged people and treat the same.
Each and every healthcare facility has brought in quality healthcare services to the
society. This has really helped patients who were suffering from chronic as well as other diseases
that need good and quality medical care. The healthcare services too have been cheap to pay in
order to access the services where some of the healthcare services are free of charge. This has
enabled people to feel free and seek medical attention in the health centers.
Yeah. They allow better management of the current demand. The demand currently is
high and the regular hospitals are unable to meet the demand from the market. On the other hand
when the demand is too high little attention is given to quality because of the high demand. They
are not alternatives to the hospital but supplements to the hospital.
The health care centers are more cost effective and provide a higher quality service as well. This
has been experienced by the people who have visited them in the recent past. Throughout the
entire period they have been in operation these health centers have gain good reputation from the
patients who have visited the same. Some of them provide an insurance program whereby
patients in the same program do not actually have to pay for the same services when admitted.
The insurance cover goes ahead to take care of all the expenses incurred during the whole
admission process.
