Cluster One: Resolving Problems with Group Dynamics and Team Building
1. Improve the communication between technicians and engineers
Communication skill is one of the most important skill that everyone should,
especially in the company, it can influence many things. In Torando Electronics Co,
technicians and engineers can be regard as a team. Everyone, even the manager, are the
team member and will often need to enhance other members’ contributions.
Communication can make the company wary of the way forward. The company should
confer foreground to everyone in this company. With good communication skills, also
means good listening skills. Communication with team member, if team member can’t
express clearly, the result is can’t let other teammates know what you really think, it
will cause misunderstandings or jokes finally. The company should set up common
goals for the technicians and engineers. For example, the company can set the award
for the team. It is always a good way to encourage people to work hard.
2. To Avoid of the Social Loafing
To avoid any work disturbances and engaging in any social or internet interactions.
to encourage performance by the employees, the company may introduce incentives.
Incentives motivate employees into performing certain tasks or encourage them to excel
in a field. Developing a system that rewards employees according to how well they
carry out certain tasks. Though it may seem trivial, reward systems encourage happy
and productive workplaces. Unhappy workers exhibit reduced productivity in their
work. In the absence of incentives, employees have lessened self-drive and need to
succeed. Failure to acknowledge employee’s efforts results in a dull environment where
the workers just do what they ought to do because they might lose their jobs otherwise.
That should not be the case. Workers should invest effort because they are pleased to
do so, and they know someone will take notice and appreciate these endeavors.
Employee happiness and the fruitfulness of a company are directly related. Happy
employees are in turn, responsible for happy employees.
The key to an effective rewards program is to acknowledge employees’
contribution and reward exemplary performance. It is better when workers are aware
of an implemented system that will reward their constructiveness. For example, a
Personnel Reward System (PRS), can be a good tool to improve the working
environment for the sake of the employees and the company at large. The reward system
is based on off incentives. Individuals or groups will be eligible for a reward upon
reaching a predetermined quota in their fields. The incentives are aimed at motivating
excellence in all facets of our company. Those who qualify will be awarded internal
recognition and badges. The exceptional performance will attract a permanent award.
An employee management tool has been implemented as well. It will keep track of
employee activity and award scores. Eventually, the person or group with the highest
score will get the incentives. I am positive this will create a workplace where employees
are appreciated for their efforts and continued contribution to the welfare of the
company.
3. Build Good Organizational and Team Environments
Engineers ought to possess exceptional coordination skills to bring together various
individuals into an effective whole. Being organized will enable me to lay down smart
strategies and plan objectives that will propel the resultant team towards set goals. Also,
being organized will optimize resources such as time. Organization in a team gets rid
of chaos that would otherwise manifest. Through order,
a unit structure that is
optimized for performance.
4. Make Everyone Understand the Task Characteristics
A streamlined process means that engineers can get back to their usual tasks timely.
The process of negotiation should be sound and fair to see to it that, the final decision
puts into consideration, the interests of every team player. Also, facilitation is a task
that the team leader ought to see through. (Martins de Andrade, 2016) Through
facilitation, it is important to let the team members understand the team goals, as well
as, those for each. The leader will also facilitate the formation of an action plan. An
action plan will remind team members of their goals, and check that they accomplish
what they have set. The team leader through proper facilitation makes it easier for team
members to complete their assignments. A good leadership will have to monitor the
group tasks, every member has been assigned specific roles that work towards the team
goal. Division of labor is essential in that, an enormous task that would otherwise take
a lot of time is subdivided into smaller tasks that are easier to handle.
5. Recombine the Team Size and Improve the work efficiency
Through collaboration, tasks are achieved seamlessly. In as much as one derives
joy from an individual achievement, being part of something bigger than oneself can
be exhilarating as well. Perhaps the delight arises from being part of other people’s
pleasure. A team is comprised of human elements. How effective the team is determined
by how well each facet of the team functions. It is of utmost importance that all
members the team are working in tandem as if they were a single organism. Teamwork
is all about cooperation. If a team is to be effective, its members have to be cooperative
on factors such as decision making, planning, and taking actions towards a set objective.
One thing for sure is that no one member of a team is as good as the entire team. In
present-day, institutions have underestimated the power of teamwork by promoting a
competing culture. They regard a notion of coming out on top higher than collective
success. In an effective team, members must be discouraged from the idea of ‘I’, to
‘we’. In so doing, the collaborative effort will prevail. A team is only as good as the
people it comprises. Therefore, selection of team members should be top notch if the
team is to attain its goals.
6. Finish part work Consciously and In Time
An Engineer leader ought to invest effort from time to time to make sure that the
team is functional and moving towards set goals. Teamwork is the whole aspect of a
team. How well the members collaborate translates to the group’s success.. In as much
as subordinates will do what their boss asks of them, they will more often practice what
they see in their director. Being the uppermost person in a team means that everyone
else looks up to this particular individual. Additionally, to ensure that all decisions and
actions are aligned with the group objectives. In so doing, other team members will be
motivated into combining their efforts for the good of the group. Another way to
enhance teamwork is through clarity of communication. Communications within a
group of people should be as simple as possible. Intricate information yields confusion
and misinformation, and eventually catastrophe. Proper discussions may be fostered by
verbally rewarding members. Constantly reminding them how their contributions are
welcomed is one way to ensure that they do not hold back something that would
otherwise be helpful. ( Verma, 2013)
7. Enhance Team Cohesion

‘we’. In so doing, the collaborative effort will prevail. A team is only as good as the
people it comprises. Therefore, selection of team members should be top notch if the
team is to attain its goals.
8. Build up Team Trust In the Company
A team is likely to experience conflict now and then since it comprises different
personalities. Workplace conflicts should not drive team members further apart but
should rather be used as a means to come to a conclusion that is considerate of other’s
views. The decision-making process is likely to heat up from time to time. With
polished negotiation skills, I will be able to resolve the differences in a manner that
does not strain the decision-making process. A streamlined process means that members
can get back to their usual tasks timely. The process of negotiation should be sound and
fair to see to it that, the final decision puts into consideration, the interests of every team
